Zoho Billing - July 2026 Updates

Zoho Billing has published its monthly round-up, covering Hosted Payment Pages, checkout design, reporting and access control, with some items still in early access.

• Hosted Payment Pages can now be shared for individual items as a URL, a QR code, or embedded on your site with an iframe or HTML button.
• After a successful item payment, Zoho Billing creates the invoice or sales receipt automatically, so you no longer need to raise the transaction in advance.
• A redesigned single page layout for Hosted Payment Pages puts the order summary, coupons, recommended add-ons and the price and tax breakdown in one checkout flow, for both one-off purchases and subscriptions.
• The redesigned layout supports Customer Portal sign-in and sign-up during checkout.
• It also supports auto-save and resume, so customers can continue where they left off after leaving or refreshing the page.
• Abandoned cart recovery is included in the new layout.
• Customer and invoice custom fields can be configured on Hosted Payment Pages to collect extra information at checkout.
• Each custom field can be shown or hidden, set as mandatory, optional, read only or hidden, and reordered to control the display sequence.
• A new Payment Method Summary report shows stored payment methods, including active, inactive and expiring ones, with the number of subscriptions attached to each.
• A Subscriptions by Payment Method drilldown shows subscription status, customer details and subscription amounts.
• An Active Subscriptions by Product report shows active subscription counts per product over time, grouped by day or month.
• An Active Subscriptions by Country report shows active subscription counts by country over time, also grouped by day or month.
• TDS rates and TDS group taxes can be imported and exported in bulk from Settings, Direct Taxes, Income TDS Rates.
• Role-based permissions can be set on the SKU field of an item, with read and write, read only or hidden access per role.

Availability: The redesigned single page layout is in early access for organisations created before 24 July 2026, and is enabled on request. TDS import and export applies to the India and Global editions.
