Zoho Contracts - Contract Settings and Backdated Contracts

Administrators can now define default workflows and configurations for contract creation and management, and enable backdating so contracts can reflect past effective dates when business relationships already began.

• Contract Settings are configured once and apply to all subsequent contract creation, eliminating the need to reconfigure the same options repeatedly
• Backdated Contracts feature allows admins to enable backdating so contracts can be created with an effective date set in the past
• Backdating is useful when parties have already agreed to terms verbally or over email and begun operating under that understanding, but formal paperwork was delayed
