Zoho CRM - Draft Quotes, Sales Orders, and Invoices for Services
Zoho CRM now lets service-based businesses draft quotes and sales orders and raise invoices for services using a dedicated Service subform in the Inventory modules. You can control whether product details, service details, or both are required on each transaction.

Zoho CRM is introducing support for services in the Inventory modules through early access, so service-based businesses can quote, order, and invoice services alongside products.
- Draft quotes and sales orders and raise invoices for services by completing the Service subform in the Quotes, Sales Orders, and Invoices modules.
- Builds on the Services module: enable Services first, then turn on the Service Details subform in each Inventory module's builder.
- When enabled, the Service subform appears alongside Product Details under a common Order Information heading.
- Choose which subform is mandatory: product only, service only, both, or a custom option where every record must contain at least one of the two.
- The Service subform includes two default lookup fields, Services and Added As, to link an appointment for a scheduled service or record a walk-in for an unscheduled service.
- Convert a quote that contains both product and service details into an invoice or a sales order, creating a new record in the relevant module.
- Services are supported in Quotes, Sales Orders, and Invoices, but not in Purchase Orders, which continue to support products only.
