Zoho CRM - Mirror Component for Real-Time Related Record Data

Zoho CRM has introduced the mirror component, a new layout element that displays fields from related records directly within the record you are viewing, updated in real time.

• Mirror components act as a live, read-only window into related records; any changes to the source record are reflected instantly.
• You can view fields such as a contact's phone number or email address directly on a deal record without navigating to the Contacts module.
• Mirror components differ from Fields of Lookup (FOL): use FOL when data needs to be stored or modified locally, and mirror components when you just need real-time visibility.
• Up to 100 mirror fields per module are supported, spread across a maximum of five lookup fields.
• Mirror components are layout-specific, so different layouts can show different sets of mirrored fields.
• They are visible on the create, edit, and details pages but not in list views.
• Mirror components cannot be used in criteria or filters; cross-module filters in custom views and smart filters should be used instead for that purpose.
• They are available in all modules that support lookup fields, excluding Calls, Meetings, Tasks, Appointments, and Users.
