Zoho CRM - Zoho Projects Now Available Inside Teamspaces
Zoho CRM Teamspaces can now contain Zoho Projects alongside modules, so teams can work on record-based data and project tasks in the same workspace. The rollout is phased, starting with the US data centre Standard Edition and expanding to all DCs.

Get weekly Zoho updates
Zoho CRM is beginning a phased rollout that lets you add Zoho Projects directly inside Teamspaces, so project work sits alongside the CRM modules a team already uses.
- Projects can now be added to a Teamspace and accessed from the Teamspace navigation panel, including inside folders next to modules.
- Two types of projects are supported: client projects that are linked to CRM Accounts or Contacts, and internal projects with no external client.
- You can create a brand new project from inside a Teamspace, or bring an existing project into the space.
- Projects open within the Teamspace using the standard Zoho Projects interface, so team members can collaborate on tasks without leaving CRM.
- Client projects retain their association with the related CRM records, while internal projects can be created without selecting a client.
- Project visibility inside a Teamspace follows the existing Zoho Projects user access permissions.
- If Zoho Projects is not yet integrated, you can configure the integration directly from the Teamspace in a single step.
- If the Zoho Projects user licence limit has been reached, additional Teamspace users are added as inactive in Projects and can be activated later when more licences are available.
- The Create Project and Associate Project screens accessed from the Accounts and Contacts related lists have been updated to match the new Teamspace project UI.
Availability: Available now on the Standard Edition in the US data centre, with a phased rollout to all other data centres to follow.
