Zoho Desk - Upgraded Zia Sentiment Analysis Model
Zoho Desk is upgrading the Zia Sentiment Analysis model to improve accuracy across all supported channels, with the older model scheduled for deprecation on 7 May 2026. The new model also expands tracked-language coverage from English only to 12 languages in total.

Zoho Desk is upgrading the Zia Sentiment Analysis model to give better contextual understanding of customer sentiment, with the older model being deprecated on 7 May 2026.
- All accounts with sentiment analysis enabled will be migrated to the upgraded model automatically.
- Depending on your current setup, an Update action may still be required to complete the transition. Check under Setup, Zia, Intelligence, Sentiment Analysis and click Update if prompted; this is a one-time action.
- If sentiment analysis is disabled and re-enabled later, the upgraded model is applied automatically without a separate update step.
- The older sentiment analysis model is scheduled for deprecation on 7 May 2026, after which all remaining accounts will be moved to the new model automatically.
- Sentiment tracking now covers 11 additional languages beyond English: Arabic, German, Spanish, French, Japanese, Chinese (Simplified), Indonesian, Hindi, Italian, Malay, and Portuguese.
Availability: Enterprise edition only. Available in the US, EU, IN, JP, CA, UAE, CN, and AU data centres.
