Zoho Inventory has shipped a comprehensive set of updates for January to March 2026, spanning item management, warehouse operations, reporting, and integrations.

  • Items and item groups have been unified into a single creation flow, allowing you to create an item and its variants from one page in the Items module. The item list view has also been refreshed with collapsed and expanded modes.
  • A new Unit Groups feature (early access) lets you define measurement groups (e.g. "Weight" containing kg, g, lb) and set different unit conversions per item, useful when purchasing and selling in different units.
  • Batch Price Management allows you to set different selling prices for individual batches of tracked items. You can choose how prices are selected per transaction: default price, highest price, latest price, or rate list price.
  • Profit Margin Calculation is now available in Sales Orders and Invoices, giving you visibility into estimated profitability before confirming a transaction. Cost price can be derived from item details, purchase bills, FIFO, WAC, or a custom rate.
  • Stock counting is now available on the web application, not just the mobile app. You can start, perform, and submit stock counts using Items View or Bins View, with barcode scanning support.
  • Purchase Receives and Bills can now be created partially or in excess of the original purchase order, including at the line item level. Standalone bills and purchase receives can also be mapped retroactively.
  • Group Picklists let you organise picking operations with three grouping options: No Grouping, By Item, or By Sales Order, each with flexible assignee allocation.
  • Advanced Reporting Tags allow granular categorisation at both transaction and line-item level. Tags support parent-child hierarchies, visibility controls, user access restrictions, and can be included in PDF and email templates.
  • A new Stock Movement Report provides a detailed view of how stock moves across warehouses, customers, and vendors within a selected date range, capturing every inward and outward transaction.
  • Two new Inventory Turnover reports have been added: Turnover by Amount (COGS / Average Inventory Value) and Turnover by Quantity (Total Quantity Sold / Average Inventory Quantity).
  • Zia Insights have been added to reports, providing AI-powered descriptive analysis that highlights key patterns and trends in your business data.
  • Custom reports now support a date range filter, letting you narrow report data to a specific period without manual row filtering.
  • XpressBees Shipping Integration (India Edition) lets you fetch real-time shipping rates and create shipments directly from Zoho Inventory.
  • WooCommerce Integration syncs products and sales orders with flexible control over data flow. Items sync as variants, and shipment updates are pushed only after complete fulfilment.
  • Bob Go Shipping Integration (South Africa Edition) provides access to multiple courier services from a single platform with real-time rate fetching.
  • Enhanced Amazon Integration now uses tax values directly from Amazon rather than recalculating them, and supports editing synced sales orders with Instant Invoice and "Edit with Ease" features.
  • Enhanced Shopify Integration allows creating packages and shipments independently from marketplace orders, and adds image sync from the Item Details page.
  • Enhanced Etsy Integration now supports Packages and Shipments sync for automated order fulfilment, and allows connecting multiple Etsy stores to a single organisation.
  • Additional minor enhancements include multi-language support for Amount in Words in PDF templates, editable Total Quantity Required in assemblies, bulk write-off for invoices (extended to India Edition), negative adjustment cost visibility on the adjustment details page, and the ability to set zero cost price during positive quantity adjustments.

Availability: Profit Margin Calculation is available on Premium and Enterprise plans only.
