Zoho Notebook - Theme-Based Notes, Compact View and Image Sharing
Zoho Notebook has added theme-based notes that follow your device's light or dark mode, plus a Compact View for browsing more notes at once. Supported notes can also be exported as formatted images instead of screenshots.
Zoho Notebook has added three changes covering note appearance, browsing and sharing, rolling out with the latest version of the app.
- Theme-Based Notes drop the fixed background colour and follow your device's light or dark mode instead.
- Set Theme Based as your default note colour and every new note matches the device theme.
- You can switch a theme-based note to a coloured note at any point without affecting its content.
- Compact View shows smaller note previews within a notebook, so more notes fit on screen and there is less scrolling.
- You can move between the available grid views whenever you want.
- Supported notes can be exported as formatted images that keep their layout and formatting, replacing screenshots.
- Long notes are split across multiple images automatically, which suits sharing through messaging apps, email or social media.
Availability: Rolling out with the latest version of Zoho Notebook; update your app if the features are not visible yet.
What this means for you
A small quality-of-life release. Theme-based notes that follow light or dark mode, and a compact view for busy notebooks, make Notebook a little nicer to use day to day.
There's nothing here that needs action for a business, but if your team uses Notebook for meeting notes, image export is a handy way to share a formatted note with someone outside Zoho.
