Zoho People's Q2 2026 release introduces new features and enhancements across HR operations, onboarding, learning, attendance, payroll, and performance.
- Zia, a new AI HR assistant, answers HR queries in natural language, surfaces workforce insights and reports, performs routine actions such as approvals and reminders, and works through chat or voice across web, mobile, Microsoft Teams, and Slack with role-based access.
- A new OKR service lets you define objectives and key results, align them across the organisation, departments, locations, and employees, track progress through check-ins, and use OKRs as a parameter in performance reviews.
- Offer and appointment letter management lets you create letters from mail merge templates, send them digitally for e-signing, and track acceptance, rejection, and expiry from one place.
- LOP reversal for past pay periods automatically adds or removes loss-of-pay entries from past payrolls based on attendance updates.
- Sandwiched absences are now auto-reversed when the associated absences are converted into attendance entries.
- You can choose to apply only the highest attendance deviation penalty for a day, preventing multiple deductions when both grace period and strict mode policies are enabled.
- The Attendance Data for Payroll report can now include overtime split details based on your organisation's overtime configuration.
- Learning plan completion can now trigger outcomes that update a learner's designation, department, skills, location, or group, with approval settings supporting single and multiple conditions.
- An LMS course activity log tracks additions, removals, and setting updates to course configurations, along with the user who made each change.
- LMS training sessions can now sync with Microsoft Outlook Calendar, so trainers and enrolled learners see sessions in Outlook and updates sync automatically.
- Leave and attendance metrics can now be included in performance reviews, giving reviewers visibility into attendance and leave patterns.
- Administrators can send updated normalised ratings for reviewer acknowledgment, and reviewers can accept or reject the changes.
- Custom button actions and scheduler executions now have detailed logs, available under Settings, Service, Automation, Workflow and Custom Button Logs.
