Zoho CRM is beginning a phased rollout of an enhancement to its Zoho Projects integration that lets you add projects directly to a Teamspace and access them from the Modules list rather than through individual linked records.
- Access project work from a shared Teamspace and collaborate on tasks without switching between multiple views.
- Add client projects, which stay associated with their CRM Accounts or Contacts, into a Teamspace to monitor progress.
- Create internal projects that are not tied to a CRM record, for collaboration such as feature development, documentation, or campaign planning.
- Add projects by creating a new project or associating an existing one, then place them in any folder in the Teamspace navigation panel.
- Work with the full Zoho Projects interface displayed inside the Teamspace, while project management is still handled through Zoho Projects.
- Set up the Zoho Projects integration directly from the Teamspace in a single step if it is not already configured.
- Project user access depends on available Zoho Projects licenses; if the limit is reached, Teamspace users are added as inactive users until more licenses are available.
Availability: All paid editions of Zoho CRM, rolling out to all data centers in a phased manner.
