Zoho Projects - Summary Field for Data Aggregation

Zoho Projects has introduced the Summary field, a new custom field type that automatically calculates aggregate values from related module data.

• The Summary field supports aggregation functions including sum, min, max, count, record count, and unique count.
• It pulls values from a selected related module directly into the parent entity column, such as Projects, Phases, or Tasks.
• You can use it to compile data like total expenses, average spend per category, total tickets handled, or average resolution time, depending on your use case.
• Both default and custom modules can be added as related modules to pull data from.
• Up to five Summary fields can be created per module.
• The field eliminates manual calculations and provides real-time aggregated insights.

Availability: Enterprise plan and above. Can be added to Projects, Phases, and Tasks layouts.
